Ladybugs Hibernate!

Ladybugs have oval shaped bodies.  They can be red with black spots and a black head.  They have 6 legs.

The 7 spotted ladybug lives in North America.  Many other species of ladybugs live in other places.

Ladybugs hibernate when the weather gets cold.  They hibernate under rocks, logs and even in houses!  Thousands of ladybugs can hibernate together in the same spot.
